Secondary Education (Grades 6–11)
Piliyandala Central College provides secondary education from Grade 6 to Grade 11 with 9 parallel classes in each grade. Education is offered in both Sinhala and English mediums, including bilingual classes where subjects such as Science, Mathematics, ICT, Health, and Civic Education (CEG) are taught in English.

From Grades 10 and 11, students also have the opportunity to choose from additional language subjects such as Japanese, Chinese, and Tamil, broadening their global communication skills.

The school emphasizes academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development, while encouraging participation in sports, aesthetic activities, and student clubs. Students are thoroughly prepared for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination at the end of Grade 11.
